Nurse ManagerDepartment: Family Medicine, AKUHEntity:Aga Khan UniversityLocation:Karachi, Pakistan.Responsibilities:You will be responsible to:

oversee the overall nursing management of the department
ascertain the performance of nursing staff, ensuring exemplary patient care through institutional set quality standards
participate in the strategic and resource planning activities of the department
support physicians and unit staff in solving problems related to issues pertaining to patients and their family, and processes related to patient care
ensure compliance as per the guidance provided by the Chief Nursing Officer, Department Chair and other relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:You should have:

Bachelor?s degree in nursing, preferably along with a master?s degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Hospital Administration or equivalent from an accrediteduniversity
at least five years of relevant nursing experience at management level
ability to demonstrate clinical competency and possess sound knowledge of patient care and related safety standards
knowledge of resource management and ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently to produce quality work and innovative solutions
excellent interpersonal skills with professional attitude and readiness to accept challenges.
