More about this roleWhat you need to know about this position:

• A food microbiologist is a subject matter expert and along with technical expertise, the candidate must be good in reporting and communication skills. The expectation is to attend regional/global calls and also reporting analytical results so the candidate must have knowledge of lab equipment, computer skills and statistical skills

Education / Certifications:

• Masters in Microbiology

Job specific requirements:

• In terms of micro laboratory services ensure all laboratory reagents, chemicals, test methods, equipment are acceptable for testing purposes.
• Should be able to execute cleanliness drives and develop GMP standards.
• Manage sourcing of Lab equipment, chemicals and micro consumables and ensure GLP standards.
• Provide technical expertise on assigned areas related to microbiological, sanitation and food safety standard.
• Sample and analyze ingredients, work in progress and finished product for microbiological compliance to specification.
• Educates and trains colleagues in Food Safety to ensure compliance to Company Standards.
• Carry out Microbiological reporting on FG on monthly basis.
• Regarding GMP the person should Ensure FQPs and GMPs are in place covering Equipment & Building hygiene, Sanitation & Cleaning, housekeeping, Infestation & Pest management and Prevention of potential contaminants.
• Conduct regular audits to assure compliance to the QPs/QCMS and Sanitation. Coordinate for Initiation and closure of corrective actions where required based on audit findings.
• Actively participate in quality culture initiative and IL6S journey.
• Support other team members in their area of work whenever a need arise.
• Carry out effectively the tasks assigned by the manager.
• Ensure documented Mondelez procedures are used. Where these are no possible only accredited documented quality procedures are used.
• Organize and conduct training programs on sanitation, QPs and food safety and food defense to implement expected changes in activities and behavior and increase awareness of existing tools and processes.
• Review and update SOPs related assigned area for effective implementation and maintenance
• Drive initiatives related to productivity, loss prevention, zero defect and consumer inspired quality.
