In addition to the tertiary care hospital in Karachi, AKUH has a network of 4 secondary care hospitals, 30+ Medical Centres, and over 290+ Clinical Laboratories, 30+ Pharmacies in over 120+ cities across Pakistan. It also offers Home Healthcare Services and home deliveries of medicines. In recognition of its high quality and patient safety, the AKUH is accredited by the Joint Commission International (JCI) as an Academic Medical Centre and its Clinical Laboratories are accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) for fast and accurate testing.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:

  • provide patient care in inpatient and outpatient areas
  • perform common procedures under supervision of physicians
  • exibit sense of direction in clinical judgment and justfy on scientific basis
  • exibit procedural skills in assistance and/or independently where applicable, and display the prudence and precautions which help in avoiding potential complications
  • display effective and relevant documentation with quality records keeping of clinical notes, progress notes, operating notes and potential complications
  • avoid mishap, delays or lapses in clinical care by demonstrating excellent communication and patient care skills.
RequirementsYou should have:
  • an MBBS degree, MCPS (at least traineeship completed) will be preferred
  • at least 1 to 2 years of experience in clinical settings
  • a valid license from Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • willingness to work in shift duties
