Together with Telenor Shared Services Norway it delivers efficient business support to Telenor employees to make their work easier.Position RelatedThis role is responsible for financial controlling activities within R2R domain. It includes end to end Operations management, Customer handling, issues and escalation management, Month end closing, ICFR in the domain of R2R and liaison with upstream/downstream functions in the wider Finance & Accounting as well as strong liaison with IT teams in TSS. The role will also be responsible for identifying and driving continuous improvement initiatives, Quality assurance and Customer experience management.Goals

• Deliver on operational goals as per the departmental strategy and targets.

• Deliver to agreed SLAs & KPIs with stakeholders.

• Identify and implement process improvement initiative including standardization of process along with Process owners and CI function & service managers.

• Deliver on operational excellence targets and ensure employee engagement levels as agreed with line.

• Be the customer interface for the respective area and represent R2R Team in monthly forums with the customers.

Your Typical day at work

• Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances.
• Reviewing the companys financial statements to ensure they are accurate.
• Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
• Forecasting future financial performance.
• Preparing and analyzing budgets.
• Providing accurate financial reports to management.
• Ensuring compliance with government regulations.
• Developing key performance metrics to enhance performance.
• Reporting to line management on overall performance for this process.
• Identifying opportunities to improve policies and procedures.
• Compliance to IFRS and closing at the end of each reporting period.
• Maintain adequate internal controls over process and ensure all activities are in accordance with generally accepted accounting procedures.
• Review and sign-off regular and exception reporting.
• Supporting internal and external audits of BU?s.
• Monitor the performance of teams managed by direct reports.
• Manage ad hoc projects and tasks as and when required.

• ACA/ACMA/ACCA Member

Work experience:

• 6+ years of relevant experience in shared services / MNCs / reputable organization
• Understanding of Service Delivery models in shared service environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including fluency in spoken English.
• Experience of working in dynamic organization, dealing with large number of customers with stringent deadlines & producing high quality work.
• Experience of working on change management and improvement projects
• Operational understanding of telecommunications, previous functional background in telecommunications will be appreciated.
