Last Date to Apply:October 30, 2022Employment Type:This is a full-time position.Grade:This is a grade position.Location:This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.30Flexibility model: HybridAbout the roleThis is an opportunity to join as Manger Cloud Infrastructure Planning, in the Cloud domain, you?ll join an inspiring team of technologists dedicated to design, plan and implement cloud technology solutions related to infrastructure/cloud covering all aspects including demand, capacity, forecast and financial managementYour Impactful Goals include:

  • Strategic Planning of Cloud Platform for Telco & IT Data Centers.
  • Lead and drive the implementation team to ensure successful on boarding of applications on infra platforms
  • Lead and evaluate both private (on-prem) and public cloud and preparing thorough analysis with respect to cost, security, design and candidacy of application/network function.
Your Typical day at work
  • Work as cloud infrastructure manager for virtualized infrastructure based on RedHat, VMware and Public cloud
  • Design and develop plans to migrate workloads/applications from on-prem to public cloud with minimum service disruption.
  • Apply leadership and management skills to aspire teams for Innovation and Transformation activities
  • Responsible to coordinate and collaborate with vendors/partners for infrastructure planning and subsequent implementation
  • Responsible financial management related to cloud Infrastructure
  • Coordination and collaboration with vendors/partners for hardware delivery and implementation
  • Process writing to as per ITIL v3 standard to cover process like change management, configuration management, access management, service design to service improvement
What we are looking for?Education: Bachelor?s in Computer Science/EngineeringWork experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Data Center Infrastructure and/or relevant position, preferable in Mobile Operator / Service Provider environment.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud Technologies (Private and Public)
  • Designing and deployment experience of RH OpenStack, OpenShift and VMware based Virtual Infrastructure.
Certifications:
  • Red Hat Certified System Engineer ? RHCE
  • Red Hat Certified OpenStack Administrator ? RHCSA in OpenStack
  • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
  • VMware Certified Professional ? Data Center Virtualization
  • AWS Certified Architect
  • Red Hat Certified Architect (Preferred)
Potential Career Path:Opportunities to grow laterally and vertically in the domain.Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas:1)Knowledge of and implementation experience in following key areas:
  • Private cloud architecture
  • Working experience in Linux based operating systems i.e. RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu
  • Working experience in Ansible and scripting
  • Deployment experience of OpenStack / RHV
  • Knowledge and Implementation of Red Hat Ceph architecture
  • Knowledge of SAN storage administration and implementation
  • Knowledge and working experience on hypervisor technologies (KVM, VMware) administration and implementation
