(Hybrid)About the role:Manager Business Performance Management will work closely with company financials & forecasts, preparing various financial analysis, delivering well-crafted presentations, and ensuring timely & accurate reporting to Group and Local management. This position is located in Islamabad and reports to Sr Manager Business Planning & Support FunctionsYour Impactful Goals will include:

  • Delivery of quarterly forecast and annual strategic financial plan for the business
  • Preparation of comprehensive analysis to provide a solid basis for decision-making
  • Preparation and delivery of various presentations to Management and Group Stakeholders
  • Liaison with stakeholders both within and outside Finance for various deliverables
  • Bring innovation and more insights into the process and presentation of performance management
Your Typical day at workThe typical day would include simultaneous execution of one or more of the following deliverables :-
  • End-to-end responsibility for Consolidating Quarterly forecast and Annual Strategy for Telenor Pakistan. This covers P&L, Balance sheet and Free Cashflows and further requires driver-based analysis and comprehensive presentations for management reviews
  • Upholding and Executing the Performance Management Framework driven by Group and Local Management via various forums such as close the gap and divisional target setting
  • Preparation of well-crafted presentations, effective storyline and comprehensive analysis for Top Management and Telenor Group / Asia Hub on frequent basis
  • Representing finance in Liaison with multiple stakeholders across the company for efficient and effective management of deliverables / forums
  • Effectively carrying out ad-hoc analysis as demanded by management to support decision making and to provide key insights
  • Prepare and ensure, accurate and effective reporting of actuals on a monthly/quarterly/adhoc basis
  • Continuous improvement in Way of Work via financial modelling, simplification of tasks, enhanced well-equipped dashboarding and bringing a fresh perspective in routine deliverables
What we are looking for?Education: ACCA, CA, ICMA, MBA or other relevant financial/business qualificationWork experience: Industry experience of Minimum 5 - 7 years in Analytical roles (Telecom and/or Business Planning experience is highly preffered)Potential Career Path:Being a part of Business Performance Management team, the candidate will gain:

  • Excellent analytical skills including skilled in variance analysis and business case evaluations
  • Solid understanding of the revenue and cost drivers specific to the telecommunication industry
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills and experience in financial analysis
  • Sound knowledge of Finance and Accounting
  • Self-drive ability and motivation to undertake responsibilities and work without supervision
  • Motivation to learn, explore and stay flexible in the way of work
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize/deprioritize on-the-go
