Starting in 2000, the University expanded to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom and Afghanistan. AKU began life as a health-sciences university.Aga Khan University Examination Board is a Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education that offers qualifications in both English and Urdu. AKU-EBs primary purpose is to improve the quality of education. It achieves this by making examinations of reputable standard more accessible to Pakistani students so that AKU-EB qualifications are increasingly valued by leading higher education institutions within and outside the country.The Examination Board was established by Aga Khan University in August 2003 in accordance with Ordinance CXIV of the Government of Pakistan to offer examination services for both Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC).Responsibilities You will be responsible for:

• policies and procedures for data management and confidentiality
• storing and retrieving examinations data accurately and timely manner
• data accuracy, safety, security, and confidentiality
• planning the overall SoPs for result compilation and quality assurance
• effectively mentoring data analysts for timely and error free completion of the tasks
• analysing SSC and HSSC assessment scores
• preparing item analyses for post-examination review and compile activity report
• compiling results and reports for SSC and HSSC examinations for different stakeholders
• planning the overall SoPs for result compilation and quality assurance
• Analysing middle school examination scores
• Preparing analyses for post-assessment review with compilation of reports
• compiling results and reports for middle school assessments
• successfully leading research project of interest resulting in at least one paper publication per year
• extracting accurate data from database for research
• Analysing data using appropriate statistical tests
• preparing reports using appropriate data presentation, figures, graphs and tables
• supporting Associate Director, Assessment for any other periodic tasks as required

• Masters in Statistics / Research / other relevant qualification
• At least 3 to 4 years? experience of:
• data management, data analyses and report writing
• working in academics, examinations and/or research
• fluent in Urdu and English.
• ability to use MS Office (specifically MS Word, Excel), SPSS, and database.
• ability to present data with appropriate graphs, figures and tables.
• good data analyses, research and report writing skills.
• excellent organizational and management skills.
• ability to meet deadlines with error-free completion of tasks.
• unwavering commitment to the highest quality and integrity in all aspects of one?s work.
