Together we will create a brighter future and make a meaningful difference.As a Lead Data Engineer at JPMorgan Chase, within Consumer & Community Banking of Operations Technology team, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for maintaining critical data pipelines and architectures across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm?s business objectives.Job responsibilities

  • Generates data models for their team using firmwide tooling, linear algebra, statistics, and geometrical algorithms
  • Delivers data collection, storage, access, and analytics data platform solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way
  • Implements database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy
  • Evaluates and reports on access control processes to determine effectiveness of data asset security? with minimal supervision
  • Experience in Data Modelling Techniques both for RDMS and No SQL Database.
  • Ensure application teams are adhering to Data Governance Artifacts and communicate the opportunity areas for future implementation.
  • Collaborate with Application development, Architecture and Product team on data needs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Working experience of 12 yrs + with both relational and NoSQL databases?
  • Experience and proficiency across the data lifecycle
  • Experience with database back-up, recovery, and archiving strategy
  • Strong experience in writing complex SQL and data modeling using ERWIN or any other modelling technique.
  • Good knowledge on performance tuning techniques (Partition, indexes etc..) both in RDBMS and No SQL Database.
  • Good understanding different data storage systems (OLTP, OLAP etc..)
  • Strong knowledge on Data Normalization techniques.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge on one of the public cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP), preferably AWS. Data Modelling techniques in cloud is a plus.
  • Communicate effectively with Senior leaders to enable collaboration, decision-making, and transparency.
