Overview This role is responsible to assist TCL Ops Lead with business volume expansion related to plantlet production and its optimal quality results ensured via rigorous testing. This role will also act as EHS Area owner for the site, responsible for implementing applicable GEHSMS standards on the site The role is responsible for ensuring coordination and seamless communication with TCL Manager, Agro Green House manager and implementation of the best practices in Tissue Culture Lab. Responsibilities Execute the EHS agenda at Tissue Culture Lab facility This job holder will responsible to assist Tissue Culture Ops Lead on Daily, Weekly and Monthly crop analysis reports. Resource will be responsible for on time entry of purchase orders, purchase requests, stock adjustments in SAP Assessment of lab equipment for proper operation, and ensure timely collaboration of the on site equipment Ensure proper maintenance and handling of potato germplasm. Arrange for long term preservation of all the potato clones Arrange for maintenance of all the germplasm lines by periodic sub-culturing Ensure periodic DNA finger printing and virus tests of all the clones to maintain genetic purity and health Identify right sources to obtain periodic DNA fingerprints and virus testing of all the clones To maintain genetic purity and health of all the clones, arrange timely and periodic DNA fingerprint and virus testing of al the clones being maintained in the facility Maintain documents/ record obtained from DNA fingerprints and ELISA tests conducted at regular interval Ensure timely multiplication of plantlets to fulfill seed pipeline requirement Maintain close relationship with seed team to know the seed pipeline requirement Understand the process of generation advancement and field multiplication processes Arrange mass multiplication of desired clones to deliver right number of plantlets for MT production Ensure implementation of ISO 17025 Lab Standards at the area of responsibility Qualifications Knowledge / Skill: Experience: Competencies: 1. Bachelor?s degree - Food Science / Microbiology 2. Good knowledge of Potato Agronomy and field management 3. Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and regenerative agriculture practices 03 ? 05 years with FMCG; Agri Based Industry 1. Strong Communication and influencing capability 2. Analytical and Data Driven Approach 3. Drive for Innovation 4. Understanding of key business drivers 5. Collaborating beyond functional boundaries Self-awareness and integrity
