Calls on physicians, clinics and other organizations that require diagnostic products or services that focus on the monitoring and testing of specialized therapeutic and/or specialized patient care.
Responsible for the sale of the company?s diagnostic products within an assigned territory or geographic region.
Complies with applicable laws in providing physicians with literature.
Provides expertise and customer service to accounts.
May provide expertise to physicians and other medical/therapeutic clients.
May gather data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing to capitalize on selling opportunities.
Builds relationships with physicians and key thought leaders to influence the acceptance and use of company?s products.
Typically requires a university degree in a scientific or related field and/or equivalent related experience.
May include individuals selling diagnostic laboratory services.
Role and Responsibilities
Focusing on smalll area or territories.
Achievement of monthly / quarterly / yearly sales targets.
Stock / expiry monitoring at institutional, customer and distributor level.
Implementation of marketing strategies and plans.
Prospecting and developing new client relationships within a defined geography or market
Build & maintain strong & credible relationships with HCP(s).
Visit HCP(s) to collect market feedback and build product advocacy.
Continuously improve product, disease, market knowledge and promotion skills through
self-reading and attending all products, marketing and medical training as assigned by the Management.
To achieve all the agreed timelines planned for the assigned official tasks.
Effective & productive data base sales call
Corporate image building by exhibiting ethics & behavior.
In-dept knowledge of HCPs, Customers, and accounts profile of his territory & update when required
Focus on developing non-users HCP, customer and accounts
Preparation/recommendations for tender business
Maintaining existing accounts
Regular reporting on day to day activities
Additional tasks as assigned by the management from time to time
Education & Experience
MBA with 6 months - 1 year post qualification experience in Sales & Marketing, in OTC/ institutions, Pharmaceutical sector.
or Degree with 2-3 post qualification experience in Sales & Marketing, in OTC/ institutions, Pharmaceutical sector.
Age criteria between (24 to 30 Years)
Hands-on experience in dealing with Key Account Management and Distributors etc. Execution of Product Promotion Strategies, and Field Activities would be an added advantage.
