Job Description

The Junior Legal Counsel will assist in various legal operations, including drafting and negotiating agreements, maintaining legal documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Core Responsibilities:

  • Contract Drafting ? Draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents to ensure company?s full legal rights
  • Contract Life Cycle Management ? Assist Legal Counsel in managing the contracts repository and implementation of life cycle management system.
  • Negotiation ? Communicate and negotiate with internal and external parties such as Business functions, Regulators, External Counsel, Public Authority etc.
  • Risk Management ? Apply effective Risk Management Techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
  • Communication ? Provide clarification on Legal Language or Specifications to the organization.
  • Legal Research ? Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation and case law. Provide updates to counsels on any changes impacting the company.
  • Business Integrity ? Assist Legal and Compliance Counsel in conducting investigations and implement the Business Integrity program in Pakistan.
Qualified candidates will have:Mandatory requirements:
  • Bachelor?s degree in law
  • English fluency, both written and spoken
Required behaviors and skills:
  • 1 - 2 years work experience in Legal sector
  • Contract drafting
  • Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders
  • Multitasking
  • Management of senior stakeholders
