For an upcoming Asian Development Bank (ABD) funded public transport project in Sialkot, Pakistan, CDM Smith is seeking an International Financial Modeling Specialist.The primary objective of this project is to help the residents of Sialkot improve: (i) access toquality public transport; and (ii) provision of a smart parking system. The project will also buildthe capacity of local officials to implement sustainable mobility for the city. This will directlybenefit the 650,000 inhabitants of Sialkot.The Financial Modeling Specialist is expected to play a fundamental role to: Develop the financial model to analyze the financial viability of the quality bus network Develop the financial model to analyze the financial viability of the e-vehicle taxi services Gather data on the estimated inputs costs (labor, electricity, maintenance, overhead, etc.) and the likely revenues (fares, advertising, etc.) for each component Run the financial model with different scenarios in order to optimize the results Prepare a description of the model, the methodology used, and the results for both the interim and final project reports.This position is a key, international role on the project team. While this position will be part-time over the anticipated five-month project duration, the candidate may work from Sialkot for periods of several weeks at a time during the project assignment and must be agreeable and available to travel.Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in finance, economics, business, engineering or similar Minimum of 7 years of experience in modeling and analyzing the financial performance of major urban transport infrastructure projects Specific experience with operational cost and revenue models for public transport International experience on public transport projects in countries outside of home country/country of origin (minimum of three countries/five projects)
