Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals in Pakistan is currently looking for a HR Head - EPD Commercial to join the business based in KarachiJob Summary: Reporting to the HR director Pakistan this is the lead HR role for EPD Commercial organization; responsible for execution of HR strategies, operational management and day-to-day support, and advisory to EPD commercial leadership on HR related matters to ensure that human resources programs and initiatives are effective, efficient, aligned to overall business objectives and are timely executed.Major Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all activities and programs related to human resource are timely implemented in accordance with the organization?s human resource strategy.
  • Work closely with business leaders and line managers to build their people capability, plan, and manage talent and develop approaches that achieve shared organizational objectives.
  • Provide support to EPD GM and leadership in particular, and as part of shared HR function, to the leadership of the other divisions in analysing and assessing development needs.
  • Assist in developing Talent Management Review (TMR), support leadership in development of succession plans for different departments, and suggest internal and/or external development interventions that support building a strong succession pipeline.
  • Work with managers and the Employee relations function and/or legal counsel as required, work to resolve ambiguous and/or difficult employee situations, and mediate as appropriate.
  • Partner with GMs/ Business Heads/ Director and Area TOC to develop, Co-lead and support Talent and Organization initiatives and roll-outs across all divisions.
Education/Knowledge & Experience:
  • High learning agility for problem solving of cultural challenges.
  • Ability to influence in a complex, matrix organization.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills.
  • Relevant experience of 8 to 10 years, preferably in a matrix organization.
  • Master?s degree in Business, preferably with majors in HR.
