Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:Job Summary:To lead all Trade and Direct To Consumer (DTC) activities. Plan and execute programs in Retail and other channels through a Trade team. Responsible for the over-all growth number and performance of the trade department.Play an active part with Regional Sales Managers Trade and Trade Territory Managers understanding their objectives and priorities, ensuring alignment between Marketing and Trade Key Account management Plans and pro-actively proposing actions to act upon identified opportunities.Major Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate with Finance & Planning to ensure monthly Plan Achievement through to Market sales/ Primary Sales.
  • Understand the Pharmacy landscape including different stakeholders, their market share, their needs and expectations.
  • Link corporate strategy with trade and trade marketing execution plan.
  • Understand the differentiation at Point of Sales for products and services and their contribution to retailers? strategy.
  • Manage the Trade segmentation and targeting with Trade team.
  • Establish effective working relationships across customers and functions to drive execution of strategies and tactics.
  • Ensure products availability on all relevant retail outlets, pharmacies and other Channels.
  • Facilitate interactions with all in-field functions and marketing teams.
Education/Knowledge & Experience:
  • Bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) required
  • 8 - 10 years of relevant commercial/ sales experience that involved working closely with customers to deliver results and/or consumer marketing/trade marketing that involved working closely with retailers
  • Experience in health care (OTC, Gx), Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and/or Retail
  • Marketing and trade marketing skills
  • Strong analytical skills
