Nokia?s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.As MEA FN team as part of the Customer Engineering organization in the Network Infrastructure Business Center, we design, validate solutions, we drive first off integrations of Nokia FN solutions on customer networks, and we introduce the latest network technologies to our customers.What you will learn and contribute to Are you passionate about solving problems?As part of our team, you will:Perform customer facing network (HW / SW) / systems integration engineer function who could be assigned on site or Remote working missions.Be required to multitask and be fast to learn and deliver with minimal supervision while showing full accountability, responsibility, and ownership.Work very closely with technical project managers, subject matter experts (SMEs) and product line managers (PLM) to co-ordinate delivery of solution to the project team and customer.Perform Installation and commissioning (I&C), onsite or remote NE/ System configuration and integration. You will work closely with TPM to achieve customer acceptance.Travel around the region if required for business and work on projects of varying complexity while interacting with different project teams and customersKeep yourself up to date with the latest developments in Nokia HW and SW technologies using Nokia?s immense learning resourcesActively contribute, share, guide, train your peers about lessons learned and knowledge gainedYour skills and experienceYou have:Excellent customer facing and spoken English skillsA bachelor?s degree in Electrical engineering with majors in Telecommunications, Telecommunications or Computer Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in the telecom industry or data center operationsExcellent knowledge of fixed access technologies like xDSL technologies like (Vectoring. Bonding, G. Fast), GPON technologies like XGSPON, NGPON, 25GPON and 100GPON, Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11 XX) technologies like (WI-FI 5, WI-FI 6/ 6E)Hands on experience to commission, configure, SW upgrade, troubleshoot and customer acceptance testing of DSL MSANs, GPON OLTs and ONTs.Hands on knowledge of setting up Wi-Fi access points, beacons, and extendersGood knowledge IP LAN/WAN switching and routing protocols, troubleshooting skills of GPON and IP networks, collecting IP traces using popular tools.A team player and can work in a true multinational environment.Preferably you will have:Hands on knowledge of administration of operating systems and applications including local and remote installation, backup/ restore, configuration, synchronization, security patching and upgrading of RED HAT Linux. / CentOSHands on knowledge of setting up, validating, radio testing of 4G and 5G fixed wireless access CPEsIP Certifications for example CCNA, CCNPWhat we offerNokiaoffers flexible and hybrid working schemes, continuous learning opportunities, well-being programs to support you mentally and physically, opportunities to join and get supported by employee resource groups, mentoring programsand highly diverse teams with an inclusive culture where people thrive and are empowered.Nokia is committed to inclusion and is an equal opportunity employerNokia has received the following recognitions for its commitment to inclusion & equality:
