Then consider a job with ThinkWell.ThinkWell is recruiting for a Finance & Administration (F&A) Specialist to oversee our growing portfolios administration and financial operations in Pakistan. The F&A Specialist will help build two ThinkWell offices in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. The F&A Specialist brings strong financial and administrative skills and a comprehensive understanding of donor financial and contractual requirements. The F&A Specialist also brings a strong knowledge of Pakistans local law and operating requirements.This is a full-time position based in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and will report tothe Pakistan Country Director.Please note: Pakistan nationals are encouraged to apply. This position includes a national benefits package and does not include international relocation or expatriate benefits. This position is contingent upon funding.What you?ll doAdministration

  • Prepare written communication such as drafting letters in Urdu as required for the administration of the country office
  • Assist with translation of simple documents from English to Urdu and vice versa
  • Support the establishment and growth of the ThinkWell country office including government registration and liaison activities, administrative duties, legal and compliance requirements, logistics and procurement.
  • Prepare correspondence and provide administrative support during meetings.
  • Support staff in editing documents and presentations as required
  • Assist with travel planning and logistics
  • Develop a country office manual outlining processes, policies, and procedures
Office Management
  • Manage all office responsibilities (supplies, IT, communications, utilities, contracts)
  • Purchase office equipment and computer hard and software required
  • Maintain an equipment inventory tracker
  • Act as a liaison between ThinkWell IT staff to manage IT equipment
Financial Management
  • Liaise with a professional employment organization
  • Support new country office with banking and registration process
  • Prepare payroll after registration is finalized
  • Ensure proper accounting of all financial transactions using ThinkWell?s accounting system and in line with local and funding agency requirements
  • Manage banking operations (receipt of funds, movements of funds in the accounts of the institution and payroll)
  • Ensure statutory compliance with various local laws and maintain financial files and support audits.
  • Revise and/or formulate country office manual outlining processes, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and maintain filing system for financial documents in readiness for audits or tax reporting purposes
  • Plan, implement and manage program budgets, financial reviews, and financial reports.
  • Assist the Country Director to budget for new business concept papers and proposals.
Human Resources
  • Coordinate with Talent team to manage local staff recruitment and onboarding
  • Work with Agility teams to develop and manage a payroll system for local staff, including the calculation and remittance of tax and other statutory requirements.
  • Help revise HR manual based on the company policy and in accordance with labor laws
  • Develop and maintain a secure confidential HR filing system
  • Partner with Country Director in the implementation of a performance management system
Contract and Vendor Management
  • Assist Country Director in the preparation and oversight of sub contracts
  • Identify and manage vendors for various services for office management, administration or legal accounting services as required
  • Provide logistical and operational support to consultants as required.
