Description :Grade Level: L2Location: IslamabadLast date to apply: Feb 12th, 2022What is Expert Cyber Security?Cyber Security Expert is responsible to evaluate and plan mitigations of different information security related risks to Jazz and plan/propose/implement cyber security solutions to address those risks. Main responsibility of this role is to deliver on challenging projects and has taken end to end responsibility from planning to operations of security infrastructure. Prior experience of banking / telecom industry will be an added advantage.The role reports directly to the Stream Head Cyber Security with an extended team of 10 team members.What does Cyber Security Expert do?

• Develop, implement, and execute the standard procedures for the administration, backup, disaster recovery, and operation of the Security infrastructure, including Backup management, Capacity planning, Change management, Version or patch management, Lifecycle upgrade management
• Develop and maintain the technical architecture of the security systems, enabling all the components to perform as expected and meeting established service-level objectives for system uptime.
• Be responsible for new product release management, policy and integration testing, security testing, and vendor management.
• Respond to day-to-day security change requests related to Security operations.
• Perform collateral duties and responsibilities as a backup to the security engineering role.
• Support on-boarding of new security services; Support architecture changes required to supporting evolving business needs and threat profile.
• Ensures the security / data protection for applications vulnerable to external hackers.

• BS/MS in information security/Information Technology
• Practical experience of security operations in large enterprise preferably in banking / Telco sector
• Experience in planning and operations of security solutions

Functional

• Ability to organize, plan and document tasks;
• Ability to manage internal & external stakeholders;
• Possess good logical and analytical skills to help in analysis of Cyber Security risks

Technical

• In depth knowledge and operational responsibility for Network Security
• In depth knowledge and operational responsibility for Email Security
• In-depth knowledge of Web Security and Data Leakage Prevention tools
• Good hands on with endpoint security and assessment
• Implement and Manage Security Tools, security configuration management tools to identify risks and track findings.
• Mitigation planning and remediation.
• Reduce Downtime and Ensure Business Continuity
• Conduct malware analysis and provide indicators for defensive measures. Investigate Suspicious Activities, Contain and Prevent Them. Analyse and respond to potential threats
• Management of partners, key stakeholders, vendors or third party service and solution providers. Organize and verify the customer queries and confirm acceptance of project deliverables.
• Provide value to business stakeholders and help them meet their business targets.
• Strong logical and analytical skills to help define and build new security solutions;
• Develop analytical products using enterprise and all-source intelligence
• Hand-on experience in managing Application Firewalls (Preferably F5 WAF), IPS solutions, Vulnerability management solutions, web security, email security, end point security solutions, Database Activity Monitoring(DAM) etc.
