Essential Duties:?Operate excavators to perform tasks such as digging trenches, loading trucks, and excavating materials.?Use hand and foot controls to manipulate the excavators boom, bucket, and other attachments to perform precise digging and lifting operations.?Follow project blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the appropriate excavation requirements.?Evaluate soil conditions and terrain to ensure safe and efficient operation of the excavator.?Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other team members to plan and execute excavation activities according to project timelines and specifications.?Perform routine maintenance on the excavator, such as checking fluid levels, greasing moving parts, and inspecting hydraulic systems.?Conduct pre-operation inspections of the excavator to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.?Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.?Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate activities and ensure smooth workflow.?Maintain cleanliness and organization of the excavator and surrounding work area.Requirements?Proven experience of 5 -10 years as an excavator operator or similar role.?Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.?Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness (Dover test).?Strong knowledge of operating excavators and other heavy equipment.?Ability to interpret and follow instructions, blueprints, and excavation plans.?Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.?Physical strength and stamina to perform tasks such as operating controls and sitting for extended periods.?Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.?Attention to detail and a commitment to safety at all times.?In addition, they must have good written and verbal communications skills in local languages and Urdu. .
