About the Role:Grade Level (for internal use):08S&P Global MobilityThe Role: DesignerThe Impact: You will assist in producing core content for SPGMIs data-driven News offering, with a recognized high impact in shaping overall operational and product quality.The Team / The Business: We have a dynamic on-site and globally based team, working closely with fellow data visualization designers, editors and others for industry data-driven market intelligence.What?s in it for you: After learning the daily workflow of basic chart production and photo formatting, you can enjoy more creative design opportunities. Sophisticated infographics, interactive charts, videos and animations are some of the projects you will take on. You will also be able to work with many stakeholders on cross-divisional projects comprising layout and design functions, allowing you to network with other teams. Your contribution to systems and process enhancements and improvements is important to management and your feedback will be valued. Training sessions to enhance your skills in design and technology are available at the company, division, organization, and team levels.Responsibilities:

• Makes informed decisions in choosing chart types based on given data.
• Designs charts and other visualizations for a variety of product offerings.
• Checks that the final visuals meet specifications and adhere to our visual style guide.
• Layout PDF reports in both print and interactive formats.
• Prioritizes busy daily work queue alongside larger scale projects.
• Works both autonomously and across teams, escalating problems and roadblocks as they occur.
• Participates in team meetings, training opportunities and stretch assignments as given.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of professional experience with digital publishing, presentations, and information delivery.
• Strong English-language written and oral communications skills.
• Working knowledge in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good background in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Experience in online workflow tracking and publications creation applications and environments.
• Has an eye for visual balance and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work and communicate well in a fast-paced team environment, focused on collaboration, as well as in an independent setting under minimal supervision
• Eagerness to learn new things and be an effective global team player.
• Amenable to work in or near Islamabad and in a late-night shift schedule (11pm-8am PAK time).
