Job Description

Job PurposeThe purpose of the job is to ensure the most appropriate use of statistical models and other inputs to develop a robust, un-biased and comprehensive baseline sales forecast across an assigned Therapy/SKU portfolio.Education, Experience & Skills

  • BBA/ Industrial Engineering/ Supply Chain
  • Minimum 1-2 years practical experience in running Demand Forecasting and/or analytical processes, ideally in a Pharmaceuticals environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Highly numerate with knowledge of supply chain forecasting systems, ideally SAP IBP/APO, and processes
  • Excel / Power BI skills.
  • Strong planning ability & able to work on own initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assign the appropriate forecast models in SAP IBP to support forecasting of the existing SKU portfolio as well as the launch of new products or line extensions
  • Execute statistical baseline forecast in SAP IBP in line with the agreed planning calendar
  • Deliver Master data maintenance and validation in SAP IBP
  • Prepare monthly exception review template for statistical forecast outcome and discuss with te with demand forecasting manager to incorporate their feedback into the baseline forecast
  • Track baseline KPI performance & alert reports to take appropriate actions for the improvementÿ of overall statistical forecast
  • Actively resolve and escalate system/technical issues for timely execution ofÿ IBP activities
  • Support CCC teams in uploading the commercial forecast in SAP APO.
