Builds consensus for the Data Governance strategy with the wider organization.Obtains appropriate involvement from support organizations for Data Governance.Recommends Data Governance metrics and measures the progress of the Data Governance program.? Collaborates with leadership across the organization to identify business needs and implement Data Governance capabilities and processes.Works with the Function Leadership to ensure that annual performance measures align with Data Governance and business objectives.? Ensures that Data Governance processes are integrated into the appropriate Safety processes (e.g., Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle or SDLC). Monitors the implementation of processes.Responsible for getting escalated issues and conflicts resolved.? Defines and implements the Data Governance program metrics; tracks and publishes results.Ensures that Data Governance deliverables (such as policies, procedures, and the communications plan) are properly documented in the appropriate tools and available to the enterprise.? Manages the issue resolution, including reviewing issues and meeting with the Business Data Stewards and stakeholders to understand their needs and the feasibility of proposed options.? Has ultimate responsibility for getting the Data Governance message and vision out to the entire function.? At least 5 years? experience in drug development in the area of Patient Safety? Demonstrated leadership skills in operational task execution and improvement initiatives? Broad and in-depth knowledge of drug safety business processes? Experience with ownership of ITsolutions supporting safety case processing? Excellent mentoring and coaching skills?
