DuPont E&I is seeking Data Engineer to join a new but fast-growing data science team in DuPont?s E&I division. As part of this team, you will have a high impact on a strategic digital transformation initiative with the opportunity to work with global team of Data scientists and Analyts.OVERALL FUNCTION: In this role you will work in a team of data engineers and BI Specialists to build the future of Industry 4.0 by developing automated data pipelines in DuPont?s data lake using modern distributed computing technology. DuPont?s data lake is a critical piece of infrastructure that will enable advanced data analytics and machine learning. You will work in collaboration with Data Scientists , BI Specialists & end users on a wide variety of initiatives ranging from business optimization (pricing, marketing, sales, etc.), supply chain & manufacturing (e.g., yield optimization, predictive maintenance, industry 4.0), and product development (e.g., IoT, autonomous systems). The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and highly collaborative: able to deliver high quality production code.Position activities include

• Be the Subject Matter Expert and point of contact for E&I data across different platforms including On-premises and Cloud servers.
• Participate in key technical and design discussions and provide recommendation for creating and implementing data architectures, pipelines, and applications. Focus on easy maintenance and reusability of the design.
• Utilize tools and technologies to create data architecture that supports new data initiatives.
• Continuously look for and implement data optimization and automation processes.
• Oversee data management, governance, security, and analysis for achieving high performance, operational excellence, accuracy, and reliability of the data.
• Control data processes across various platforms and take corrective action when errors are identified. Corrective action may include executing a work around process and then identifying the cause and solution for errors. Identifying the cause may include coordinating with various teams (internal and external) to arrive at a solution caused due to data or platform.
• Partner with Data Scientists and Data Analystsÿ to understand their data needs and converts them into reusable data elements from consumption standpoint
• Manage data projects with data engineers and in collaboration with members from other team(s), to establish a data-driven culture that promotes data democratization.
• Participate as a full member of the global Analytics team, providing solutions for and insights into data related items.
• Collaborate with your Data Science and Data Analytics colleagues across the world to share key learnings, leverage ideas and solutions and to propagate best practices. You will lead projects that include other team members and participate in projects led by other team members.
• Apply change management tools including training, communication and documentation to manage upgrades, changes and data migrations.

Job Qualifications To be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

• Bachelor?s Degree in math, science, engineering, IT or related area
• 5-7 years of relevant IT experience (Data Analytics, Data Engineering)
• Strong communication skills in English language (both written and spoken)
• Ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them
• Ability to coordinate with various teams across different functions
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as well as guide other team members
• Ability to be an effective team member with remote colleagues spread across the world
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Extensive experience in data concepts and tools
• Strong knowledge of data concepts and tools.
• Experience with Power BI is a must(focusing on data aspect).
• Knowledge of SAP function modules is a plus
• Experience around Data warehousing will be preferred.
