  • Coordinate business development strategy and plans to achieve market and customer growth and retention rate.
  • Track revenue generation, profit/ expense objectives and coordinate for assigned area.
  • Deliver new business development initiatives and maximise exposure for DHL Express amongst targeted prospects.
  • Work closely with the sales team to initiate and establish relationships with targeted prospects.
  • Deliver market studies and feasibility studies to assess market potential.
  • Prospect new business development opportunities through market research, developing marketing initiatives, etc.
  • Identify, pursue and acquire profitable business relationships with key customers.
  • Negotiate to obtain new customers and support team in difficult negotiations to secure critical sales.
  • Be aware of key trends and developments impacting business development plans.
  • Convince external parties to accept complete proposals and programs, typically others have an interest exists to accept new concepts, practices and approach.
YOUR PROFILE
  • Bachelor?s Degree (or equivalent).
  • 5-7 years? experience in a similar role, preferably in the Express service industry.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, interpersonal, planning and organizing skills.
  • Can perform under pressure and take initiatives.
  • Should be able to focus on identifying and understanding each customer?s needs. Expresses and acts on desire to assist customers in an efficient and friendly manner.
  • Have an understanding of supply chain management and express logistic business practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
