Associate, School Relationship Officer Department: Examination BoardOrganization: Aga Khan UniversityIntroductionThe Aga Khan University was found in 1983 as Pakistan?s first private university, Aga Khan University is a not-for-profit institution and an agency of the Aga Khan Development Network. Starting in 2000, the University expanded to Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, United Kingdom and Afghanistan. AKU began life as a health-sciences university.Aga Khan University Examination Board is a Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education that offers qualifications in both English and Urdu. AKU-EBs primary purpose is to improve the quality of education. It achieves this by making examinations of reputable standard more accessible to Pakistani students so that AKU-EB qualifications are increasingly valued by leading higher education institutions within and outside the country.The Examination Board was established by Aga Khan University in August 2003 in accordance with Ordinance CXIV of the Government of Pakistan to offer examination services for both Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC).The position is based in Panjab, Pakistan.Responsibilities You will be responsible for:

• Identifying Schools/Colleges in Punjab with potential to offer AKU-EB Programmes
• Supporting to develop and manage relationships with a wide range of different stakeholders in Punjab including schools, universities, the media, industry and others
• Supporting to market for promoting AKU-EB and its various programmes to a wide range of different stakeholders including schools, universities, the media, industry and others through visits and meetings
• Assisting to schools implementing AKU-EB syllabi and its various programmes.
• Coordinating to advice and guide schools with respect to administration, compliance, resources and training
• Coordinating mediation when issues or problems arise with clients
• Supporting to develop networks within the sector to seek ideas and feedback for market insights
• Meeting with school representatives to coordinate for training needs analyses
• Regularly following-up potential schools and colleges to ensure maximum conversion as AKU-EB affiliates
• Keeping the AKU-EB leadership updated on new market developments and insights
• Supporting AKU-EB team in event management to engage schools/colleges
• Supporting to augment AKU-EB relationship with schools by engaging them to participate in various AKU-EB activities/events
• Generating progress and feedback reports on schools and colleges of Punjab region on regular basis to update AKU-EB leadership

• A Bachelor?s degree or Masters
• 3-5 years of experience in the field of school education.
• A people?s person ? a natural relationship officer
• Ability to take ownership of a task from start to finish
• Ability to act quickly to address any situation arising in the region
• Excellent communication skills in English; conversational Urdu and Punjabi
• Understanding of Pakistan
• Very pro-active individual
• Excellent interpersonal skills, passionate and cheerful
