AKUH is the first hospital in Pakistan to be awarded the prestigious Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) for practicing the highest internationally-recognised healthcare standards.Job Role / Responsibilities:You will be working closely with the Off the Beaten Track (OTBT) committee for supporting the academic administrative functions of OTBT program. S/he will be responsible for helping in conducting OTBT sessions for undergraduate medical students. OTBT is the co-curricular program, and the sessions are usually conducted off the curricular schedule time.Specifically, you will be responsible to:

  • arrange/schedule the sessions of Off the Beaten Track (OTBT) streams in consultation with the Stream Leads that include scheduling of classes, workshops, confirmation and allocation of faculty, venues reservation, announcements, maintain attendance record for students? eligibility and related matters
  • coordinate and facilitate committee meetings and share the meeting minutes accordingly
  • document and follow up on important actions and decisions in meetings
  • generate reports and prepare necessary presentation material
  • manage overall administrative and logistics arrangements related to OTBT
  • review student evaluation forms on One45 or on any other platform at the end of each OTBT streams
  • oversee other administrative support tasks for UGME operational work.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:You should have:
  • a minimum of Bachelor?s degree, Masters will be preferred
  • a minimum of two years? relevant work experience (administrative work in university would be preferred)
  • experience in transcribing meeting minutes
  • ability to demonstrate sound judgment in managing challenging and sensitive situations
  • ability to meet deadlines
  • excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office specifically in Excel
  • proficient in written and verbal English
  • strong communication and interpersonal skill and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • cooperative and has the ability to get along well with faculty and fellow colleagues.
