Associate, Grant Administration, Department of Medicine˙EntityAga Khan UniversityLocationKarachi, PakistanIntroductionAga Khan University Hospital invites applications for a contractual position of Associate, Grant Administration in the Department of Medicine.˙ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to:

  • handling overall management/coordination of the grant and managing administrative-related issues
  • coordinating with different stakeholders for regulatory work and smooth operations
  • managing data and documentation related to protocols, training manuals, papers, and other project-related materials during the pre and post-phase of the project
  • ensuring compliance with all policies and guidelines with respect to the University and funding agency
  • facilitating and scheduling activities for the smooth running of the project(s)
  • planning and scheduling office events, including meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
  • facilitating monitoring and audits (sponsors, ERC, DRAP, JCIA etc.)
RequirementsYou should have:
  • a Masters degree in a relevant field from an HEC-recognised university.However, a certification in Research and Grants Administration will be an added advantage
  • at least three years of related work and comparable experience at a reputable and relevant organisation
  • knowledge of using advanced contracts and grants concepts to manage resources
  • strong research background/training and analytic skills, ideally in mixed-method approaches
  • strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • ability to demonstrate sound judgment in managing challenging and sensitive situations.
