The University currently has teaching sites in Pakistan, East Africa, the United Kingdom and Afghanistan, and is a major component of Aga Khan Development Network.The Aga Khan University invites applications for the grant-funded contractual position of Associate in the Institute for Global Health & Development.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible to:

  • provide assistance and support in field office administration and maintenance
  • order medicines to Pharmacy department and take relevant approvals from Finance
  • arrange medicines for all research projects˙
  • supervise the staff of housekeeping, pantry and security section and ensure the smooth operations being followed as per the guidelines provided
  • coordinate with warehouse for issuance of material, equipment, furniture and stock items for field sites
  • arrange and distribute of tea stuff
  • ensure that all supplies and stationary are properly entered in the system
  • coordinate with Maintenance department for repair and maintenance
  • take continuous follow ups from support department for ensuring the completeness of work on time
  • visit field sites for audit purpose of equipment, medicines, leave forms, attendance and supplies
  • perform any other task assigned by the supervisor
RequirementsYou should have:
  • Masters in relevant field from an HEC recognised or reputable foreign university
  • at least three to five years of relevant experience preferably in research setup
  • good networking and interpersonal skills˙
  • resilience and ability to cope up with work pressure
  • good negotiation and management skills
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • willingness to travel to field sites on need basis
  • proficiency in computers especially MS Office
  • excellent team player
