Data Management (Karachi & Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore)DepartmentCommunity Health SciencesIntroductionThe Department of Community Health Sciences (CHS) is the leading unit of its type in Pakistan, recognized regionally and internationally for the relevance, quality and extent of its work in support of public health and the development of primary health care systems. It comprises of five major operational units: Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Policy & Management, Population & Reproductive Health, Environmental Health, and Non-communicable Diseases & Mental Health.A research study ?SARS-CoV-2 in Pregnancy? is being led and conducted by the Department of Community Health Sciences in collaboration with departments of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Karachi & Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore; to better understand how SARS-CoV-2 infection during pregnancy impacts outcomes in women and their neonates during pregnancy and post-partum period. The clinical outcomes of enrolled women and their newborns will be followed up to 6 weeks after childbirth.ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for:

• Perform scanning regularly of all CRFs received from the study site SGHR Lahore:
• Maintain Log Sheet Enrollment, Follow-up Forms received in episodes over a period
• Upload all the archived (Scanning) CRFs & LOG to data sharing serverto Data Management Team (DMS) i.e. CHS-DMS as guided.
• Responsible for safe custodian of electronic/physical study file and will compile respective CRFs into folders get receive in episodes over period.
• Engage in reviewing & executing electronic edits and communicate and coordinate with numerous study field staffs, coordinator etc. via phone/in-person or through video conference. for their resolution.
• Conduct periodic visits/calls to the field sites/hospitals for the resolution of EDITS with the WHO study field staff on CHS-DMS behalf.
• Maintain an Error log and discuss noted errors/edits identified during editing with the field supervisors/coordinator and further with the respective field staff for their resolution.
• Assist in the data management activities such as editing, coding, and data cleaning/fixing on a routine basis, along with remote data management team of identified logical error or inconsistency both within or across different CRFs.
• Setting up a hotline with DMS, Karachi team (Lead, Coordinator, Editor, DEO) to provide support to WHO staff on data collection.
• Assisting in developing and conducting training/refresher on the data quality along with the CHS-DMS.
• Providing IT & Data management support to all SARS CoV-2 study staff located at the SGHR study site.
• Any other task assigned by the Principal Investigator / Supervisor.

• Bachelor degree in Computers Science/IT, Masters degree will be preferred.
• Experience of working in healthcare setting preferably in research; in Maternal& child Health as DEO/Scanning/Assistant.
• Excellent teamwork and observation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well command on spreadsheets and statistical packages.
• Good interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.
