Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:Primary Function:Managing stock control, ensuring compliance with 3rdparties, monitor store functions. Monitor orders Processing, liaising with transportation, suppliers, internal and external customers, Training, supervising and appraising staff, maintaining statistical and financial records, ensuring that quality objectives and cost-effective delivery deadlines are met.

  • Monitoring stock receipts from Abbott plants to the warehouse and ensuring replenishment.
  • Planning and following up on shipments for internal depots and external distributors/institutional stockiest.
  • Coordinating closely with 3PL for inbound/outbound logistics.
  • Managing and recording the temperature of all shipped orders as per Abbott standards.
  • Coordinating with RDSM for distributors? primary sale targets and payments to ensure timely shipments.
  • Supervising the physical handling of drugs during receipt and shipment.
  • Maintaining and monitoring the temperature of all products and storage areas.
  • Monitoring data loggers and maintaining daily temperature records.
  • Preparing and posting documents in the ERP system for shipments to other depots.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance of temperature.
  • Arranging and assembling consignments as per batch numbers, expiries, and quantities on pick slips.
  • Arranging staff training for SOPs and maintaining training records.
  • Posting cash receipts in the system and keeping records.
  • Providing lists of short-dated items monthly and removing expired products promptly.
  • Meeting customer service and distribution KPIs.
  • Maintaining housekeeping in the warehouse and complying with SOPs/guidelines.
  • Implementing quality management systems (QMS) as per Abbott standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with drug sale licenses and drug laws.
  • Dealing with vendors for maintenance and bill processing.
  • Training staff according to the Master CDQA Training matrix.
  • Handling drug inspector visits and fulfilling their queries.
  • Inspecting and maintaining Abbott vehicles, including updating their documentation.
  • Aligning employees for distributor/institutional/warehouse vehicle plans.
  • Managing and verifying transporters? bills and submitting them for payment.
  • Conducting weekly stock reconciliations and monthly cycle counts.
  • Monitoring expiries closely.
  • Renewing vendor service agreements and ensuring their effective use.
  • Following up on work orders and coordinating with vendors for maintenance.
  • Managing warehouse expenses.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping and EHS compliance.

Education/ Knowledge & Experience:
  • Registered with Pharmacy Council.
  • University graduate in Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent disciplines.
  • 3 Plus years? experience in Pharma Company in similar capacity.
  • Passionate to work on floor.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
