Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.Job Role / Responsibilities:You will be responsible to ensure timely completion of following tasks relatedto grants and its compliance:

  • assist supervisor in ensure that the university is complying with the grant agreement, budget and the agency requirement as agreed
  • develop strategies for continuous improvement of its operation, identify weakness and strategies to mitigate the risk
  • improve / modify existing system to reduce the turnaround time and ensure no major observation from sponsor and audit
  • assist in developing and implementing annual operational goals of the assigned area which are aligned to the overall departmental goals
  • monitor work processes, procedures and establish programs which drive performance toward organizational goals
  • review and evaluate work to ensure quality, timelines and ensure quality control in adherence to policy and procedure
  • help relevant stakeholders in developing grant proposal in accordance with the guidelines
  • review and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to internal and external auditor and granting agencies
  • coordinate the process of developing monthly Grant Variance Report
  • ensure maximum financial support from grants being offered and units give more focus on cost neutral projects to gain self-sustainability.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
  • CA/CMA/ACCA/CIMA or MBA from a reputable university
  • minimum of four to five years related working experience preferably in a management position
  • sound knowledge of overall financial systems
  • be able to multitask and think out of the box
  • excellent analytical skills; able to motivate team and command respect
  • able to communicate relevant trends and findings clearly and concisely, knowing when to escalate
  • possess exemplary interpersonal communication and report writing skills
  • proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Office
  • ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines
  • ability to work with minimal supervision and to resolve issues independently.
