Assistant Manager, Finance FHSEntity: Aga Khan UniversityLocation: KarachiIntroduction to the Aga Khan University: The Aga Khan University is a private, international university committed to international standards of excellence in teaching, research and service. Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.Job Role / Responsibilities:Reporting to the Manager, Finance will be responsible for day to day operational issues of the specific segment or the entity.˙˙ They need to take decisions in line with the set policies and procedures to cater to expectations of the internal and external customers keeping in view the departmental / Unit objectives.Specifically, you will be responsible to;

  • assist in developing and implementing annual operational goals of the assigned area which are aligned to the overall departmental goals
  • assist in managing the provision of effective functional services
  • assist in recruitment, retention and development of employees
  • financial policies and procedures
  • assist entity heads on financial activities of the unit.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
  • ACA / ACMA / CIMA / ACCA or MBA in Finance
  • at least five years of working experience on financial aspects of a large organization, preferably in reputable organization
  • good knowledge of accounting principles
  • strong analytical skills
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in use of computer packages specially MS Office
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
