Last Date to Apply:11th November, 2022Employment Type:This is a full-time position.Grade:This is a grade 2 position.Location:This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.Flexibility model: HybridAbout the Role:This role will require you to conceptualize business problems and use cases with the business team and come up with algorithmic solutions that are superior to rule-based ones.Your Impactful Goals will include:

  • Be adept with using advanced statistical analyses for problem solving.
  • Be the go-to person for data cleaning, pre-processing, manipulation to convert data to usable forms.
  • Be hands-on in developing descriptive / optimization models, such as: segmentation, customer networks, lifetime value, campaign optimization.
  • Be hands-on in developing predictive models, such as: Next Best action, churn predication, algorithmic pricing, market basket analysis.
  • Be a self-learner: have a knack of learning new statistical concepts and technologies to come up with out-of-the-box solutions.
Your Typical day at work
  • Collect and stitch data from multiple database systems & apply cleansing, pre-processing procedures to it to bring it to usable structures and form training sets.
  • Apply data mining procedures to generate meaningful insights from data and suggest data models based on business problems.
  • Collaborate with other BI teams to synergize business insights and form business rationale for building models.
  • Iteratively, develop algorithm prototypes and analyze results with business teams.
  • Work with technology teams to productionize matured algorithms and ensure end to end use case stability.
  • Be agile to start with a skeletal model and iteratively modify to improve results on the go.
  • Closely collaborate with business teams to run and analyze A/B experiments.
  • Hack into current CLM & contextual operations & suggest innovative ideas for new processes. Automate work as much as possible.
What we are looking for?Education:Bachelor?s or master?s degree in a quantitative field such as Management Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science.Work Experience:
  • 1+ years of experience, preferably in a data science/analytics role
  • Telecom commercial experience (Segments, Pricing, BI) is preferred

  • Application knowledge for Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning algorithms

  • Advanced user of MS Excel.
  • Self-driven and flexible, must be able to drive and manage projects and work well in pressurized situations
  • Ability to work as part of a team and mentoring team in this domain
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing)
  • Influencing, Convincing and Negotiation Skills
