Employment Type:This is a full-time position.Grade:This is a grade 2 position.Location:This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan.Flexibility: HybridAbout the Role:The Assistant Manager CBS Operations is responsible for leading the overall operational activities of the domain. The candidate will be responsible for overall smooth operations of Mediation, FMS & Interconnect Billing systems.Your Impactful Goals will include:

• Billing and Revenue Management Operations Specialist will be responsible for smooth operations of Convergent Billing, Mediation, Interconnect billing & FMS operations
• Evident Mediation requires a professional with hands-on Linux/ Unix Experience, this platforms serves as the backbone as it provides Inputs for Reporting & Organizational Dashboards
• Active Monitoring is required on the platform which requires 24/7 Availability of the resource if need be to meet the SLAs.
• Billing Application Management, Tariff configuration & Problem management
• SLA compliance for Telenor Revenue Assurance controls
• Leading & Assisting Team in resolving Operational Issues Quickly
• Compliance Management of SLAs related to Support & Internal TP stakeholders.
• Keep track of available and utilized capacity in the overall Architecture.
• Participation in CR Solution Designing & testing and smooth production deployment
• Provide Support to business and team members for day today operational issues
• Take the ownership of all day to day operational activities of the production applications
• Maintain day closure recons for future reference

Your Typical Day will look like:Being a specialist of the domain, considerable management experience will be required to govern and deliver around below applications:

• Configuration Management
• PRM ? Operations Management
• Call Flows & Integration Management
• A- Team Interface
• Charging & Billing System
• Configuration & Change management
• Vendor Management and follow up on SLA compliance
• Feature acceptance testing
• BI campaigns handling
• Responsible for Mediation configuration
• New CRs sanity/testing and production deployment
• Upstream & downstream traffic collection, delivery & monitoring
• Error logs monitoring & troubleshooting and fix the issues
• System Monitoring (Disk Space, CPU, etc.)
• Coordination with vendors and with stakeholders for operational issues
• Good interaction with internal customers and external vendors

Your Career Path:The incumbent in this position will have the opportunity to grow vertically and laterally in the Division e.g. Revenue Management OperationsWhat were looking for:Education:

• Degree(s)/Major(s): BCS/MCS (Communication/EE/Computers)
• Certification in relevant field will be an advantage

Work experience:

• Extensive hands on Convergent Billing, Mediation, FMS & Interconnect Billing systems
• Knowledge and work experience of GSM system, call set-up & signaling protocols.
• Extensive Knowledge of shell scripting
• Linux / Unix hands on experience for 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle & SQL Server

• Oracle & Linux/ UnixOS
• Structured and Self-driven, with a focus on deliverables
• Solution Oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Capable of meeting deadlines while ensuring quality under heavy work loads

• Ability to perform duties during public holidays and off days if required
• Have good communication skills and Presentation Skills
