Job Description

This role is expected to provide Mastery in Demand Planning processes and systems.This role is accountable for supporting business priorities related to Demand Planning processes and systems i.e. troubleshoot issues, resolve issues, perform system testing for enhancements etc. This role will drive continuous process and system improvements and implement best practice through various project implementationsWhat are we looking for?Provide Mastery of Demand Planning to the organization

  • Provide Demand Planning process and technical subject matter expertise, leadership and direction to Demand Planning community
  • Develop Demand Planning processes and solution capabilities that deliver business goals.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of Demand Planning related trainings to Asia Demand Planning community.
Support Business Priorities related to Demand Planning processes and systems
  • Continuously translate business challenges to capability requirements and create capability roadmap to deliver needed capabilities.
  • Be the first line of support to Demand Planners
  • Drive Demand Planning related KPIs
Drive Continuous Process and System Improvements
  • Engage with DT and project teams to evaluate various solutions to deliver business requirements
  • Support Asia supply chain organization via strategic projects related to Demand Planning to improve Service, Cost, Cash and Agility goals.
  • Govern Demand Planning processes and solution capabilities to make sure the process is executed as designed and deliver results as intended.
1. Education & Professional Qualification
  • Bachelor?s Degree in related field (Operations Management/Supply Chain Management/Distribution and logistics) but willing to consider other technical majors and relevant experience
2. Knowledge/Experience
  • Min 5 years experience in Demand Planning and statistical Forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skill - Analyzes & utilizes facts effectively for presentation to decision makers. Must be comfortable with higher level mathematics and statistical analysis
  • Broad Supply Chain process knowledge on both a tactical and strategic level
  • Strong character - willing to champion the right decision and not be easily dissuaded
  • Advanced proficiency with Access and Excel ? creating queries and performing complex quantitative analysis to detect correlation and patterns in the data. Knowledge in Power BI is a plus.
