Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.Job Role / Responsibilities:Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Finance you would be responsible to lead financial activities of the segments of the Finance department and provide regular and periodic reports to management. This is a multi-year project based positionSpecifically, you will be responsible for;

  • preparing financial Reports to be sent to international and domestic granting agencies
  • provide budgetary approval for payment vouchers as per the approved authority matrix within specified timelines
  • process purchase requisition, personnel requisitions and travel request as per approved budgets
  • prepare and review budgets to be submitted to donor agencies
  • meeting Principal Investigators on a monthly basis to discuss grant project financials
  • assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing
  • ensure grant compliance in the light of University and grating agency protocols
  • assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing
  • prepare different reports, memos such as Grant Variance Reports, Newsletters and other reporting etc.
  • preparing financial Reports to be sent to international and domestic granting agencies
  • any other responsibility assigned by the supervisor.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
  • full qualified or partly qualified ACMA / ACCA or equivalent qualification in a related area
  • minimum two years? experience in relevant field
  • professional Certification in a relevant field will be an added advantage
  • should be able to operate MS Office
  • should have knowledge of Accounting Principles and IAS
  • possess good analytical skills
  • should be able to demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills
  • should be fast learner, team worker and motivated
  • effective time management.
