Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan UniversityHospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission Internationalfor achieving the highest international healthcare standards.Job Role / Responsibilities:Reporting toAssistant Manager, Finance you will be responsible for providing support inplanning, budgeting, forecasting and monitoring of the University-Widefunctions and initiatives while conducting value added analyses andhighlighting issues with recommendations for effective decision making.˙Specifically, youwill be responsible to;

  • review, analyze andconsolidate University-Wide financial planning, budgeting and long termprojections for the existing as well as planned initiatives
  • review of inter-entitycost allocation and provide insights on process improvement consideringinternational practices
  • refine on an ongoingbasis the planning process, identifying the weaknesses and strategies tomitigate those
  • refine policies forconsistent/ coherent budgeting practice (recording and reporting) throughoutthe University, ensuring compliance with International best practices
  • refine processes forefficient monitoring of budgetary and actual financial/ statistical data
  • review and provideinsights on project updates related to construction activities
  • support in monitoringUniversity?s actual goals and financials against the plan
  • any other specialprojects as assigned.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
  • CA (finalist)/ Qualified ACCA or MBA (Finance)
  • minimum two years? experience in business planning, budgeting, financial modelling and management reporting
  • demonstrated expertise at Microsoft Excel including financial modelling, Dashboards and Power Pivot
  • must be accurate, detailed-oriented and yet be able to view financial information from a broad global perspective.
  • strong analytical and writing skills.
  • must be flexible with working hours and ability to handle pressure while adhering to tight deadlines
