Job Description

Job Role: AM Quality AssuranceLocation: Lahore Foods FactoryMain Job PurposeResponsible for the site-wide consumer safety and quality systems.The position will play a critical role in the Quality Maintenance Pillar of the WCM/TPM process (World Class Manufacturing). In addition, the AM QA facilitates the development of policies and systems which are aligned to Unilever?s Corporate policies and implements and upgrades these systems via a systematic continuous improvement approach.Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain Quality systems for the site, in compliance with Unilever Policies/Guidelines and Governmental regulatory requirements
  • To provide Technical information/advise/feedback, to Customers and other departments, on product inquiries or complaints, process troubleshooting and Unilever policies and guidelines
  • Protect the company from possible financial loss due to sub-standard ingredients and packaging material through effective testing and sampling programs
  • Ensure that all products meet or surpass defined standards of quality by developing, implementing and monitoring an effective Quality Program to the HACCP standard and Unilever?s Framework and QCSMS Standards
  • Drive continuous improvement by leading the Quality Pillar using WCM/TPM concepts and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with and source resources from departments in other manufacturing plants as needed and ensure that the plant activities are aligned with corporate objectives as it relates to Supply Chain capabilities
  • Assist production in root cause analysis and complex problem solving in the case of any Quality incident to prevent further risk or an re-occurrence
Key Skills and Qualification
  • 5 years experience in a plant environment with strong exposure to Quality, Consumer Safety and Environmental management systems.
  • Knowledge of WCM/TPM, HACCP, GMP, & Quality Regulations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale change activities.
  • Proven Track record in People Development, coaching and influencing skills
  • Project Management
