Technical expertise aside ? we value self-initiators, forward-thinkers, team players and good communicators.Your Impactful Goals will include:The position shall be responsible for Technical Planning of IP Networks including Enterprise Cloud Data Center. The selected candidate should act/perform as expert technical resource in the designated area of IP based networks.As a subject matter expert, you will provide oversight to Designing & Planning, Security and share inputs regarding industry best practices. The successful candidate will function as a lead technical resource for implementing cloud infrastructure and will be responsible for defining all technical aspects of the solution which includes architecture, analysis, technologies, cost and execution.The person in this position will work to integrate technologies, cloud management tools and converged infrastructure.Your Typical Day will look like:

• Work as Datacenter network planning resource for Enterprise/IT datacenter design, expansion, and integration plans
• Responsible for ensuring demand management and associated implementation
• Responsible to coordinate and collaborate with vendors/partners for network planning and subsequent implementation
• Responsible to support internal teams in information compilation and reporting related to network architecture
• Responsible to keep updating design documents
• Coordination and collaboration with vendors to conduct site surveys for upcoming implementation
• Coordination and collaboration with vendors/partners for hardware implementation
• Ensure proper evaluation of new network technology solutions, participate in technical workshops
• Design and implement Software Defined Networks, Routing, Switching and Network Security (Firewalls) in Data Centre, call center, corporate LAN/WiFi, VPN, as per the standards and best industry practices
• Design and develop architecture diagrams/artefacts for new solutions
• Participate in writing technical HLD/LLD
• Engage and coordinate with partners/vendors in network infrastructure implementation activities
• Execute all corporate scalability projects, working with vendors and cross functional teams
• Responsible for corporate infrastructure documentation, diagrams, IP scheming and configuration templates
• Plan to upgrade and implementation of Enterprise network security considering the future requirements with technology evolution of HW, SW, IOS, bugs and security patches
• Project management to ensure all milestones are delivered as per agreed timeline and with expected functionality & quality.
• Key Interface of IP Planning team among solution providers (External/Internal) and other Telenor Technology Teams.
• Deep dive into technical design discussions to ensure E2E IP Network Solution Optimization, resolution of critical issues and simplifying design complexities.
• Design and develop network architecture for SDN/DC environment while ensuring all design and information security aspects.

What were looking for:

• Extensive Knowledge and hands-on experience of Designing, Planning and Deployment of following domains:
• Cisco ACI
• Nexus Switches & ASR routers
• Cisco ASA/FTD and Juniper SRX Firewalls
• Network security components
• WAF, F5 & AirGAP
• Experience of 5+ years in large scale data/voice network & security operations and planning.
• Extensive experience in IT Networks or relevant domains, preferably in Mobile Operator / Service Provider environment.
• Experience in Cloud & SDN Networks; Network (Routing and Switching), Implementation and operations of Software Defined Networks, Network Security in Data Centre, corporate LAN/WiFi, VPN, as per the standards and best industry practices.
• Understanding and good experience on Network Security infrastructure, Next Generation Firewalls, IPS and IDS.
• Working experience/knowledge of networking vendors: Juniper, Cisco, F5 etc.

• Interpersonal communication skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing) in (English/Urdu)

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in same or relevant position, preferably in Mobile Operator / Service Provider environment
• Experience in Planning & Deployment of network ? SDN Networks and related Products, Routers, Switches, Firewall, DC Security and related.
• CCNP/CCDP data center/ routing & switching preferable
• Deployment experience of Firewall clusters and Cluster Management.

Certifications:

• CCNP/CCDP data center/ routing & switching preferable
• Firewall Certifications (e.g. JNCIS-Security)
