Its teaching hospital, the Aga Khan University Hospital has been accredited by the prestigious Joint Commission International for achieving the highest international healthcare standards.˙Job Role / Responsibilities:˙Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Finance you would be responsible for ensuring asset register reflects accurate record of asset of the organization whereby additions and transfers are timely and accurately captured in asset register and asset particulars are up to date; timely reconciliation of fixed Asset clearing account; contribute in process and system improvements of fixed assets and inventory management and analyzing data for management reporting.˙Specifically, you will be responsible to;˙

  • prepare various schedules for fixed assets and inventory account codes
  • participate and perform tasks assigned as part of ERP improvements and troubleshooting activities of Asset Module
  • prepare movement schedule for fixed asset clearing account and prepare analysis for management
  • contribute in process and system improvements of fixed assets and inventory management
  • regularly seek confirmation for asset receiving from concerned departments and verify physical availability of assets
  • monitor additions for fixed asset in CWIP projects and visit to the site for physical confirmation
  • prepare Schedule for LC based asset purchase and related adjustments
  • participate in physical verification activity on regular basis as well as the three-year complete verification activity
  • ensuring timely release of staff exit checklist in coordination with user?s department and with fixed asset team and ensuing satisfactory completion of asset transfer/handover confirmation.
  • perform analysis of data pertaining to fixed asset receiving, payment, recording in asset register, reconciliation of opening to closing balances, etc.
  • any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
  • ACCA finalist / ICMA Finalist / MBA Major in Finance
  • minimum of 3 to 4 years working experience in Financewith knowledge of Fixed Assets and Inventory Management Systems
  • should be able to multi-task
  • hardworking and eager to learn
  • possess good interpersonal communication and reportwriting skills
  • proficiency in computers especially MS Office, particularlyMS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint tools is required
  • ability to work under pressure and deadlines
  • a team player.
