Job Description

Employment: Full Time Primary Function:Following up the implementation of Approved Hatchery production processes procedures from egg receiving to Egg Transfer to achieve the plans, KPIs and objectives of hatchery Department.General - Responsible for:Manage Egg Handling, Egg Transfer and washing team to implementation of all procedures to produce the highest quality and quantity of the chicks at the lowest cost.Ensure that all Setters, hatchers, automation, equipment, HVAC systems and all other tools is used as per manufacturers recommendations for running and maintenanceEnsure that all biosecurity, hygiene, cleaning and disinfection systems has been followed as per approved proceduresEnsure that Preventive maintenance program for all machineries, Equipment and automation has been implemented by Maintenance in timeEnsure that all reports have been completed in time and submitted to Department managerEnsures that the quality and HACCP requirements has been following in all the processfollowing up weekly, monthly and quarterly production key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve Hatchery objectivesRegular collection of daily data to review, analyse and taking appropriate action with coordination with Department managerDeveloping & evaluating staff at all levels to maximize their productivityImplementing and following up the Training of all production staffEgg Room - Responsible for:Ensure the egg truck environment is maintained as per procedure before egg unloadingCounting, Grading, weighing, disinfecting and storage of Hatching eggs on arrival as per Egg handling procedureMonitor & record egg receiving details in daily egg Inventory reportEnsure that cleaning, disinfecting egg rooms and egg machines has been done as per the procedure every day after finishing workEnsure that the disposal of broken egg waste has been done according to the procedures every dayIncubation Responsible for:Preparing daily egg setting as per the plan and weighing sample of egg trays for weight loss during IncubationExecute Eggs pre-warming process before setting of eggs in Incubator machines as per procedureFollowing up Setters and Hatchers Temperature, RH% and Ventilation as per approved Adjustment programEgg Transfer - Responsible for:Verify the Setter Machine number to be transferred before startedVerify that the hatcher machines are ready (Clean- Dry Adjusted) before egg transferEgg transfer Process and Machines REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor/MBA in Animal Production or relatedAt least 12 - 15 years of Practical experience in managing commercial poultry hatcheriesLeadership SkillsTechnical SkillsTeamworkTime ManagementCommunication SkillsProblem solvingAnalytic Skills
