Tasks and Deliverables:Track, manage and ensure commercial actions are completed in a timely manner.? Ensure appropriate contract administration is carried out in a proactive manner including:o Issue of various correspondence and resolution of contractual matters.o Carry out risk and value management.o Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.? Reporting to Project Manager on all commercial issues.? Assist in costs analysis of project work.? Carry out post contract commercial support.? Be responsible for reviewing and processing payments to contractors and consultants.? Carry out variations analysis, recommendations and management.? Carry out preparation of interim valuations.? Carry out preparation of cost reports.? Ensure prompt submittal and completeness of valuations. ? Check and record measure of work done. ? Monitor contracts final cost estimate. ? Maintain expenditure records. ? Review, negotiate and prepare claim settlements. ? Prepare financial statements for monthly report. ? Perform other duties associated with this position as may be appropriate. General Provisions 1.0 In support to company?s requirements above, the Contractor shall ensure that the Consultant meets the qualifications requirement set out below, including but not limited to:a. Knowledge? Well-versed in software such as AutoCAD.? Well versed in all modern QS methodologies.? Familiarity with Quality Management Systems? High degree of expertise in own disciplineb. Skills? Excellent interpersonal skills;? Competent in maintaining and updating project reports accordingly.? Excellent knowledge of English language, both verbal and written.? Fully conversant with Microsoft Office software. Familiarity with Document Control Procedures.? Familiarity with physical security systems (CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Detection Systems).c. Qualifications? Have a BSc in Quantity Surveying.? Minimum ten (10) years? experience in QS? Well-developed project management skills.d. Abilities? Demonstrated ability to work in a high stress environment with tight deadlines;? Ability to produce reports on materials usage and cost expenditure? Excellent timekeeping abilities.? Ability to develop and build positive effective external and internal working relationships and partnerships.? Ability to resolve conflicts and differences of opinion;? Good communication skills (fluent English & Arabic);? Excellent negotiating and interpersonal Skills;
