Experience shall include but not limited to PACS and Hospital Information System.PACS technician shall have the ability to link/integrate Biomedical equipment with the HIS and PACS.Alternatively the PACS technician can be a Biomedical technician with IT qualifications and proven PACS/IT skills.All technicians must have received formal training in their respective fields of expertise. They must be fully conversant with regulations and recognised safety procedures.Documentation detailing their training and post training experience will be a pre- requisite of employment. All technicians must be able to read and write English. Technicians in this categories must be able to read technical drawings and circuit diagrams. Whilst all technicians are categorised by area if specialty, a certain amount of cross over between trades is necessary.
