Key Responsibilities The pattern master will be in charge of cutting patterns to correct dimensions and will liaise with Design team and Product team. He/She will work closely with the garment technologist and product developer, the design manager will input collections to the garment technologist and pattern master to create a sample.? Compute dimensions of patterns according to sizes, considering stretching of material. This would be using a Lectra Modaris software or other equivalent software.? Create a master pattern for each size within a range of garment sizes, using charts, drafting instruments, computers, and/or grading devices.? Determine the best layout of pattern pieces to minimize waste of material, and mark fabric accordingly.? Discuss design specifications with designers and convert their original models of garments into patterns of separate parts that can be laid out on a length of fabric, onto a table.
