sPlease share your cv at [email protected] orWhatsApp +968 78986457Hiring !!Job Title: Kitchen Steward Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in similar field.Education:-10th class minimumLocation:- Sultanate Of Oman (Muscat)Job RoleA Kitchen Steward will be responsible for ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes are cleaned sanitized and properly stored to support the smooth functions in the kitchen area.Job Responsibilities-Clean food processing facilities, storage rooms, fridges, kitchen utensils, immediate corridorsand holding areas as well as the operation equipment.-Wash dishes, glassware and cooking utensils by hand or by using dishwashing machines.-Remove the food particles from the dishes before washing.sort and stack the dishes on its designated area.-Assist the Kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks.-Ensure the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times.-Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.-Operate pot-washing machinery and maintain a hygienic working environment in accordancewith hygiene regulations and hotel standards.-Adhere to all sanitation guidelines.-Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the chief steward/stewarding manager.-Collects and removes trash from all areas of the operation.-Supplies dishware to food preparation stations as needed.-Empty garbage bins and recycling containers regularly.-Dispose of the waste as per the standard.-Dispose of waste as per the authority standards and Adhere to recycling guidelines.-Carry out general cleaning as directed including sweeping, mopping up, washing up,and emptying of rubbish bins and boxes ensuring placement in the correct containers.-Cleans and sanitizes pots, pans, utensils, and other minor equipment routinely used in thekitchen.-Ensure all equipment is clean and in good working order.-Cleaning the hood filter.-Cleans and maintains floors and walls in kitchen and dish washing area by following standardprocedures.-Willing to do additional duties as and when required.Skills-Ability to follow instructions.-Detail-oriented.-A professional attitude is required.-Ability to work independently.-Good communication skills are an asset.-Good organizational skills-Prolonged periods standing and walking (Based on the Nature of the duty)-Physical mobility and stamina required.
