DescriptionMain responsibilities & duties:? To support the faculty and pathway directors in the management of the programmes/pathways of the University.? To provide a high standard of customer service, dealing effectively with all customer enquiries and information requests through multiple contact methods. Contact methods will include face-to-face, telephone, IT systems (e.g. email, SMS, Web) and other formats as appropriate.? To acquire a sound knowledge of those parts of the University s Management Information Systems and other support systems and equipment that are appropriate to the area of work.? To be responsible for the production, preparation, presentation of material, and minute taking for faculty/pathway meetings including: course committees, student feedback meetings, student attendance and academic misconduct interviews.? To prepare student lists regarding tutorials, seminars, laboratory classes and other similar activities.? To provide administrative support to faculty/pathway development, monitoring and review activities, including preparation of relevant documentation and statistics as required.? To maintain effective filing, storage and archiving electronic or manual systems with particular regard to quality audit requirements.? To assist at key Faculty/Pathway and other University events throughout the year.? To assist in facilitating the provision of learning materials and appropriate provision of programme documentation, handbooks and relevant learning materials to students.? To support the planning and preparation of student activities such as site visits and field trips.? To develop and sustain collaborative and effective working relationships with Faculty/Pathway directors, other academic staff, Registry and Student Recruitment.? Undertaking any other duties pertinent to the grade of the post that might be requested at any time.Job PurposeThe purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive, end-to-end administrative support to Faculty and Pathway Directors with respect to the assigned academic portfolio of taught courses and programmes in order to ensure a high-quality learning and teaching experience for both students and staff.Skills Required?
