Job Description
Able to repair collision damage
Chassis repair using jigs and chassis measurement tools
Installation of vehicle windscreen
Able to repair roof lining
Perform oxygen and mig/tig welding repairs
Handle body trim panel removal and installation
Repair vehicles in accordance with dealer / distributor standards
File, grind, sand and smooth filled or repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools
Sand body areas to be painted and cover bumpers, windows, and trim with masking tape or paper to protect them from the paint
Cut and tape plastic separating film to outside repair areas in order to avoid damaging surrounding surfaces during repair procedure, and remove tape and wash surfaces after repairs are complete
Adhere strictly to technical specifications as laid down by manufacturer, or as instructed by management
Follow supervisors instructions as to which parts to restore or replace and how much time the job should take
Place all replaced body parts in proper location and disposing all waste materials appropriately
