Role in this level have prime responsibility for assisting Head of Section in managing all activities related to Security at the company?s sites/ plants. The role holder shall administer and follow ?up the day-to-day activities of the Security Team and participate in various security meetings with Neighboring Companies, Police, concerned government authorities, and report to the Head of Section. The role holder shall coordinate in ensuring that all Security related issues are carried out in a smooth and efficient manner in line with the procedures in the Organization.Key Accountabilities: ?Plan, Coordinate and supervise day-to-day functioning of the Security Team in order to meet customer requirements.?Lead the Security Team personnel in the capacity of Senior Security Officer, as required during emergency. ?Follow-up and liaison with neighbouring companies and Civil Defence for mutual aid, combined training, evacuation procedures.?Supervise the Gate pass system and contractor registration cards.?Carry out risk assessment for activities related to Security Team personnel and review them regularly. ?Participation in Section?s Safety Walk, when required.?Prepare reports on various surveys carried out as requested by the Head of Section and provide recommendation, if required. ?Provide input related to Security Team for Section?s Action Plan and Section?s annual budget.?Participate in studies, investigation and improvement projects related to security.?Contribute in improving the practices and facilities related to Security.?Updating of procedures/internal instructions relevant to Security group by coordination with concerned trades / personnel. ?Procure relevant security equipment / facilities.?Ensuring Maintenance of Security Vehicles by coordinating with the concerned trade.?Ensure that Security staffs are trained on their role.?Provide information, demonstration on security check.?Work closely with staffs of different level within the organization for various activities like assignment of routine jobs within security group, follow-up of relevant projects ?Participate in meetings/ discussions and communicate with external parties in the field of interest.Other Requirements:?Bachelor Degree in any relevant discipline and having professional certification in Security.?Minimum 10 years of relevant experience preferable in Fertilizer, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas or heavy manufacturing industry.
