Job Description

Qualifications:Industrial Training Certification in Mechanical field from Government / Recognised Institutes.Experience:12-15 Years years of specific experience supervising and coordinating in Plumbing & firefighting systems.Must have hands on knowledge of installation of systems during construction, ability to read and interpret drawings is very important.Ability to maintain healthy relations in a working environment.Ability to supervise technicians and labours on site to carry out different technical tasks related to installation, testing and commissioning of various mechanical systems.Responsible to the appropriate Supervisor, the Plumbing and fire fighting works within his area of responsibility to organize and supervise the work for his staff.Also coordinates activities with administrators, supervisors, technicians, other workers, and performs work within his trade certification when required.Able to individually supervise & perform tests required after services installations like pressure testing, chemical cleaning, hydraulic tests, pneumatic tests etc. for piping networks.Leakage tests for ducting networks.Should have pre commissioning knowledge.Ensuring Zero rework by closely monitoring the work on site to train less experienced operatives in key aspects about his trade enhancing the skill levels within his gang.Lead by example for his gang in all disciplinary manners. (i.e., time keeping / safety etc)Allotment of work to Asst Foreman and below techniciansTo write the Daily Charge Hand Report in the correct manner and in legible script.Ensure all his operatives are available at work place all the time, doing headcount at start of work and after all breaks.Maintain discipline, understand and implement site rules. Ensure all operatives have correct minimum PPE and they are using the same properly.Ensure tools, small plants using in site are at good condition fitted with guards where appropriate.Ensure operatives using tools, plants machinery are trained and competent.Discussion about site issues for removing bottlenecks to proceed the installation.Handling a team 15 to 20 workers. Distribution of jobs.Monitoring job completion and inspection coordination. Training to workers.Reading coordination drawings/Checking installation as per the approved drawing and method statement.Teaching good practices for installation. Protecting installed servicesMonitoring effectiveness working on site of his team and ensure they are productiveMaintain a cooperative working relationship with other workers, suppliersEstimate time, materials, equipment and manpower required to complete projects safely and efficiently through the entire cycle of work, from beginning of estimate to completion of project.Ability to supervise the work of others.Read and interpret plans and specifications.Understand and carry out written and oral instructions.Communicate clearly and effectively with workers and non-construction related personnel both verbally and in writing.Perform duties in compliance with safety regulations.Basic salary (based on experience): SAR 5,000 - SAR 7,000Housing allowance for family per month = [ (3 x Basic Salary) / 12 ] SARTransportation allowance per month = 1000 SAR
