VAM Systems is currently looking for Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:Skills?Should have experience in PostgreSQL MSSQL server AWS and Amazon RDS.Qualifications:?B.Sc. Computer Science or Equivalent?Programming Skills (Java, .NET)?AWS Certified Database ? Associate?PostgreSQL Associate Certification by Enterprise DB?PostgreSQL Professional Certification by Enterprise DB (Preferred)Main Responsibilities:?Build database systems of high availability and quality depending on each end user?s particular role.?Design and implement database in accordance to end user?s information needs and views.?Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely manner.?Enable high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.?Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses.?Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.?Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards.?Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.?Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when requiredExperince:7 YearsJoining time frame: 2 weeks (maximum 1 month)The Selected candidate shall be deputed to one of the leading Organizations in BahrainShould you be interested in this opportunity please send resume
