Establish procurement plan for receiving and tracking of project materials related to specific discipline that optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery criteria
Manage, coordinate & monitoring the assignedprocurement team to ensure compliance with procurement department process.
Interview prospective suppliers either face-to-face or over the phone to determine prices, discounts, terms, etc.
Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files and records, price lists, status of requisitions, contracts and orders, locate suppliers, approve bills for payment, calculate the cost of orders and ensure invoices are charged to the supplier?s accounts.
Review procurement execution plans
Review and monitoring P.Rs, offers status and P.Os approved cycle for assigned discipline.
Review the prepared purchase orders before releasing them to supplier to ensure complying with received PRs.
Optimize the material and supplier portfolio ? that is what materials should be bought in bulk and consumed as needed from inventory by projects, and which materials are best to acquire as needed for specific projects.
Prepare and communicate to Procurement Manager product directions, availability, lead times, model transitions, and cost roadmaps for key materials.
Support, and in some cases lead, cost reduction efforts.
Monitor and support returns, damage replacements, and warranty claims.
Keep tracking and support to achieve the saving and cost avoidance targets.
Issuie weekly progress report to the direct manager
Responsible to control that contractual and delivery dates are updated and accurate for assigned section.
Responsible to negotiate LDs for assigned categories
Act as the primary interface to the supplier in fact-finding audits and formal supplier contract/subcontract negotiations for key items/services;
Support new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive
Distribute the work load on the team members and ensure the output efficiency.
Set the priorities of tasks for each team members based on the project requirements.
